North and Freeway Arrivals diagram

The Honolulu Control Facility wants pilots to know where they are expected to enter a downwind entry for runway 4R. As shown in this graphic, it should be a 45° entry from the Navy Marine golf course for North arrivals, and a downwind entry from the H-1 for Freeway arrivals, establishing a left downwind west of taxiway Golf coming out of the Inter-island terminal.

Proceed southwest towards the Hickam golf course, well clear of the final approach course for runway 8L. Unless given downwind extensions, pilots are expected to turn their base inside taxiways Romeo and Juliet. Advise the tower if you are unable to safely make this turn from downwind to base to final.
