SIDA proposed for the South Ramp

Many of you have probably received a message from the State DOT-A regarding converting the South Ramp at HNL to a SIDA.

GACH and AOPA have been in contact with the Airport administration, and confirmed that this is NOT planned to effect T hangar and tie-down tenants.

The plan, to be presented publicly on Wednesday the 21st, will be to establish a vehicle checkpoint on the access road Mauka of the T hangars area, which will become the boundary between AOA and SIDA.

If you have concerns about accessing the ramp in a vehicle north of the T hangars, please let me know as soon as possible; you can comment on this post.
